Why There Is Increase In Coronavirus Cases In Nigeria – Buhari Govt.

        According to the SGF, there were evidence of community spread of the deadly coronavirus disease. Mustapha said: “Considering the dynamic nature of the response plan, the strategy for testing has been modified and door-to-door testing is now taking place in some communities in Lagos and Abuja. “Testing, detection, isolation, care and case management remain central to our success in this fight. “The situation in Kano continues to be of concern and the PTF is working in close contact with the state government to arrest the situation. The PTF will update you as soon as there are new developments.”         W ith the latest update given by the NCDC, as at 11:25 pm 22nd April there are 873 confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in Nigeria. 197 cases have been discharged and 28 deaths have been recorded.

News 428,941 Nigerians Got Cash In 24 States, 130,455 From Katsina – Farouq

  The Federal Government on Sunday has revealed an update on Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) to Nigerians. Presid ent Muhammadu Buhari administration in the statement noted that 428,941 beneficiaries that have received money, 130,455 are from Katsina State. The development was revealed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq while delivering three trucks of rice to the Katsina Government. Farouq in a statement through her spokesperson, Salisu Dambatta noted that the Minister was represented by the Deputy Director in charge of Disaster Management, Abubakar Sulaiman. The Minister while speaking on the TraderMoni presented to traders in the state further stated that the 10,000 loan is for traders that depend on daily income, while 5,000 MarketMoni is for providers of essential service...

News Pastor Adeboye Issues Fresh Prophecy, Reveals New Disaster.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye , the General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), has revealed that Nigeria will experience a big fire outbreak. Daddy G.O., as he is called by members of the RCCG , gave the warning during a live service on Sunday. According to the world-renowned cleric, Nigeria will also experience a major flood. Pastor Adeboye asked Nigerians to clear their gutters and pray to God to avert the disaster. He said: “If you have notice there have been different fire outbreak, we need to pray against fire incident because a big one is on the way. “Clear your gutters and pray against fire outbreak and flood there is little we can do but pray against flood. I am also praying and he will answer me.”

News We Have Spent Over N1bn In COVID-19 Fight In Edo- Governor Obaseki

  The governor of Edo, southern Nigeria, Godwin Obaseki, says the state government has spent over N1billion to curtail the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.   The Edo State Governor made the statement in Benin City during a live briefing on the virus by the State Response Team on Sunday, April 19. Governor Obaseki reiterated his administration’s commitment to ending the scourge of coronavirus in Edo state. His words: “The government of Edo State is leading this battle from the front. We have already spent over N1billion of our limited resources so far on this fight. “We have constituted the Edo State Fund-Raising Committee which is made up of our sons and daughters who are captains of industries, religious leaders, traditional rulers to help us galvanise efforts at mobilizing resources to beef up the state government’s response to this pandemic,” he said. News Lagos Govt Confirms 23 News Cases As Confirmed Cases Hits 309

  The Commissioner for Health in Lagos State, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has confirmed twenty-three new cases of Coronavirus in the state. The Commissioner revealed the development in a post on his Twitter account on Sunday. Following the announcement, the number of cases in the state now stands at 309. Prof. Abayomi tweeted, “23 new #COVID19 cases confirmed in Lagos State.” “The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 309.” “4 COVID19 patients were discharged as at 18th of April bringing the total discharged cases to 94@jidesanwoolu.” Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on a Saturday confirmed 49 new COVID-19 cases in the country.      The new cases were identified in Lagos, FCT, Kano, Ogun, Oyo, and the Ekiti States. The number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now stands at 542.
